The Lamar Warriors are battling through the 2016 Football Season with vigor! The Warrior fans are some of the most loyal around. The "Hearts of Gold" pageant was held today at Lamar High School. Rhonda Graves and Ann Price, among many other volunteers, worked very hard to make the pageant a huge success. It is an annual fundraiser to help with Special Athletes. I was lucky enough to be able to help with the event. I'm so proud to be part of such a giving community.

The Lamar Booster Club will be having a Valentine Sweetheart Dance for the students in grades 6-8 on Saturday, February 13, 2016. It will be in the high school cafeteria and will be from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. This is always fun for the kids to get all dressed up, go out and have fun that is supervised by volunteers and teachers of the Lamar School District.
