The city of Rogers celebrated the grand opening of Mt. Hebron Park on August 11, 2023. This comprehensive park spans almost 80 acres, and it will provide something for all ages and all abilities...including eight pickle ball courts, two turf soccer fields, one turf baseball field, two basketball courts, two dog parks, walking trails, a pond, a 25,000 square feet playground, a splash pad, and an assembly hall the public can rent. Located at Mt. Hebron and Garrett Roads, on the west side of Rogers, this area that has seen substantial growth over the past few years and will certainly support this size of a recreation facility!

Who likes to swim? Rogers Aquatic Center is a great place to do just that. It is a popular aquatic facility located in Rogers, Arkansas. The advanced trails are the most challenging with rock gardens, steep drop-offs, and other extreme features.

The park also offers bike rentals and bike lessons for those who don't own a bike or need help getting started. Additionally, the park has a bike shop for repairs and bike parts. This substantial music venue in Rogers, AR implicitly comes alive during an artist's performance. Living close by, even when not attending the concert, it is possible to get caught up in the excitement as the evening air resonates with music and cheers from the music fans! Every year the AMP schedules around 15 shows with a variety of music genres. The season typically runs from April through August.

Atalanta Lake is a fun way to get outside but is also a relaxing way to get your steps in. A sidewalk/trail circles the entire lake. It is a nice walk with very few hills, and you could also bike in the sectioned bike lane, but either way, it is a fabulous way to get outside. In the summer there is shade all along the pathway because of the tall trees. A little playground is located at the front of the park where kids or adults can enjoy the sunshine and some fun but wait there are also picnic tables and pavilions for your enjoyment. You can take advantage of some opportunities to dip your toes in the water. Don't forget to bring your fishing rod and try your luck at a chance to catch a rainbow trout or your kayak to take in all the scenery.

War Eagle Mill is a wonderful place to visit whether you are a local resident or just passing through. It is rich with history and is still a working grist mill to this day. There is a little bit of something for everyone. You can go and just enjoy the view, dip your toes in the water along with a picnic, or have a bite to eat at the restaurant located inside the mill. If you like to fish, take a rod and try your luck.There is an old one lane bridge that you can walk or drive across that creates beautiful photo ops. When you are finished exploring you can grab a cold beverage and do a little shopping at the gift shop. It is a beautiful place to visit and any history enthusiast would love learning about how it came to exist.

Being out on the roads of Northwest Arkansas daily with my job, it has become such a joy viewing the fascinating and uplifting art murals throughout Rogers. Better yet, the pieces of artwork are completed by local artists. It's nice to have this community support that offers the original creations of our artists for everyone to enjoy!

This was the original drug store in Rogers and still has original fixtures inside. It includes the soda fountain and ice cream bar. The Gathering is a cool place for local art, pottery and antiques.

Arkansas Athletes Outreach is a great program. It is now located in Rogers, as well as Fayetteville, AR, yet serves all of Northwest Arkansas! Both of my children have been positively affected by the sports programs that AAO provides! This organization uses sports as a way to reach and influence children at all levels. Successes, failures, hard work, and leadership abilities are encouraged and developed through sports activities. Youth are mentored and supported as they learn how to navigate the ups and downs of life!

Rogers recently opened the second facility in Northwest Arkansas. Now serving the Rogers area as well as Fayetteville. This wonderful family building experience teaches our youth about hard work, success, failure, and perseverance. It influences our children on how to navigate the highs and lows of life through sports. It develops, encourages, and cares for our kids!!

This man-made lake situated in the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas holds 28,000 acres of clear water! Access to this amazing lake can be found in Rogers, Eureka Springs, Springdale, and Fayetteville. There is a broad spectrum of outdoor entertainment along this large reservoir. Natural beauty surrounds you in the form of forests, tall bluffs, views of the glistening water, and meadows with intertwining hiking trails. Enjoy boating, camping, area parks, swimming, fishing or just relaxing and soaking in the gorgeous surroundings!

Rogers, AR just continues to thrive and promote areas with increased walkability. "One Uptown" is one of the fresh new projects nearing completion. Sitting on a two-acre site at the intersection of S. Champions Boulevard and W. Pauline, Whitaker Parkway, the three-story, 69,000 square foot property was designed by Harrison French and Associates. It will consist of retail shops, office tenants, and two rooftop restaurants.

I just love the quaint sound and feel when I drive along the brick streets that line the Downtown Rogers Historic District. Always captivating, these streets are still paved with the original bricks! The job was completed in December 1924, after years of debate about which materials to use and who would pay for paving the dirt streets of Rogers. City leaders were hopeful the brick streets would last for 10 years...95 years later, the brick streets continue to provide a passage to a thriving area that includes shopping, entertainment, dining and business.

The historic district is about eight square blocks of preserved brick streets. These streets echo a unique form of artwork, as the bricks were laid in rows, except where the streets intersect. There, the bricks are woven together in an intricate basket-weave pattern for a perfect junction.

Topgolf, a Dallas-based company, was started in the U.S. in 2005 with 49 locations around the world. The Rogers venue will be the first Arkansas location and completion is scheduled for the spring of 2020. This Topgolf will be situated on 11 acres and have three retention ponds, each with an aerator fountain. There will be plenty of parking available with 370 spaces and even 20 bike racks to serve all the residents of Northwest Arkansas!

This venue sounds like it is all about having fun. There is no pressure to have a good golf swing! The entertainment involves hitting micro-chipped golf balls into a net-wrapped area. A target detects a microchip in the ball then computes a score based on the shot's accuracy and distance. A nearby television screen displays the results. There will be 70+ climate-controlled hitting bays, a full-service restaurant and bar, rooftop terrace with fire pit, over 200 HDTVs, private event spaces, and meeting rooms.

And...always a good thing, this venue is expected to create 300 full-and-part time jobs!!

The Downtown Rogers Market is home to many local venders as well as a gathering place for the community. It was ranked the third best in Northwest Arkansas. Families are able to peruse the market, dine and take advantage of the convenient access to the Razorback Greenway Trails. Walmart NW Arkansas Championship Golf Tournament is presented by P&G and is held at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers. The event started in 2007 and has morphed into a week worth of events that offer something for everyone, not just golf! The LPGA tournament is still the central part of NWA Championship Week. This week in June truly celebrates the community spirit found in Northwest Arkansas!

Lake Atalanta is the perfect park for anyone's needs! The park offers walking and biking trails for all skill levels. There are two playground areas and plenty of picnic spaces. There is easy access to both Downtown Rogers and the local bike park, the Railyard. I enjoy taking my two dogs on walks around the lake loop!

Bentonville and Rogers Parks and Recreation came together to form this trail. On this two-mile trail, you will see an interesting array of multi-family, residential and commercial options as you travel from Rogers to Bentonville! This trail is part of the Northwest Arkansas Razorback Trail System. You'll also enjoy some original pieces of sculpted art and murals spaced between housing areas and local business...not to mention some lovely natural scenery!!

If you haven't been to the Cooking Studio of Downtown Rogers, you are missing the best of the best in local cuisine! Sheila opens for lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday with some amazing creations from local farmers and vendors. From the creamy roasted cauliflower soup to the homemade breads, everything is cooked with care and oh so tasteful! They are also serving up local beer and wine too! Sheila with help of her amazing husband, Mike, and wonderful staff will also host corporate or private events, such as cooking lessons or team building cooking events. They have put the final touches on the beautiful patio just in time for the spring/summer months.. What a great place to enjoy delectable foods in a wonderful atmosphere. You will be happy that you stopped in!

Veterans Park was completed in 1994. The entrance has a impressive Veteran monument dedicated to all Veterans ~ past, present, and future! It has a lovely 23-acre neighborhood park that surrounds a sports field complex. This complex serves as the home field for Roger High Mountie & Rogers Heritage High Baseball teams, as well as other recreational facilities. Including...softball fields, football fields, soccer fields, sand volleyball courts, stocked pond for fishing, trail system, picnic and grill amenities.

Downtown Rogers just has that special ambiance nestled in a gorgeous part of the natural state with its historic buildings and brick-lined streets! Yet it is one of the fastest-growing places in the nation! Who could resist all of the quaint shopping and dining experiences, the museums, and the art galleries, along with the local festivals and farmers markets!

In fact, over $60 million has been invested into this thriving area. This includes the recent revitalization of Lake Atalanta Park, the addition of the Rail Yard Bike Park, and the original Lane Hotel currently being brought back to life. Only a short drive from Downtown, you will find some awe-inspiring views of nature at its finest around Beaver Lake, complete with fishing, camping, hiking, and water sport activities. It is hard to imagine a better place to live.

The Railyard is a natural surface bike park that is fun for all levels of bike riders. A paved path connects to Lake Atalanta Park as well as other multi use trails connecting to both Lake Atalanta and Pleasant Ridge trails. We really enjoy visiting this unique park that also features a doggie station/park, drinking fountains, off road bike trail, parking, picnic tables, restrooms (seasonal), trail system and walking trail. This is a great place to get out and enjoy nature!
