Los Locos is officially open! Definitely a real Mexican cuisine and truly authentic. Newly remodeled with a full bar makes it very inviting to all that enter. The staff are very accommodating. The experience was great and I highly recommend!

Hilda's Home Cooking is a local scratch-only kitchen restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere. They take pride in using locally grown vegetables and preparing the best and freshest meal upon order. I personally love their Crispy Chicken Cobb Salad, but their Smash Burgers are also a big hit! Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee with one of their sinful sweets; the Banana Pudding melted in our mouths. You will not be disappointed!

This waterfall is a great spot to stop when in Heber Springs. It has a lookout from the top where you have a great view of the falls from above. You can hike down to where the falls land and play in the water below to cool off and even walk behind the falls!

On Friday-Sunday they also serve breakfast. All things on the menu are freshly made and the dipping sauces for the chicken tenders are amazing! They are located at 425 AR-110 in Heber Springs.

Sugarloaf Mountain is a beautiful landmark in Heber Springs. Sitting next to the Little Red River, the view from the top of the rock is breathtaking. The trails at Sugarloaf consist of the Summit Trail, considered the most difficult but offers benches along the way to rest; the Tonawanda Base Trail, a moderate trail but longer distance; the Hidden Pond Trail, which is handicap accessible; and the Wildlife Trail. This trail leads you to a small lake that often hosts flocks of ducks and geese, deer and other wildlife are often spotted as well. Pack up some water, a snack and of course a camera or smartphone to capture those beautiful moments.

The trumpeter swans are enjoying the heat of the sun and corn this morning! Find them in between Pangburn and Heber Springs on Hiram Road. What a great outing to enjoy nature!

The Cleburne Country Library is one of the three local libraries we have. The library has tons of books that are for all ages. Along with having books the library offers some other services too. There is wireless internet access, fishing pole check-out, public computer access, and for those who don't like to read but love books there is a wide variety of audio books.

The Heber Springs Sports Center was built in 2017, by the City Of Heber Springs. The complex includes eight lighted baseball/softball fields, six soccer fields, two concession stands, all the dugouts are covered, each field has spectator seats, all electronic score boards, and an awesome play ground for all the kids to play on!

The Old Post Office was built in 1937 as the Federal Building, holding the post office on the main floor and the other offices were in basement. The building was expanded in 1962 and sold to the county when a new post office was built in 1991. The county used the building as a District Court until 2013 and then it served as a county library. The county and the Historical Society have partnered in establishing a county Historical Center at the location. The Historical Society was originally located in the historic Frauenthal House in Heber Springs for more than 20 years. The Frauenthal House is still owned by the Historical Society but is no longer being used.
